Computex 2004: BenQ GPRS/Wi-Fi and 16x DVD recorder
At Computex 2004 BenQ, that specializes in contract shipments and sells handsets under own brand in South Eastern Asia only, showcased its new P50 smartphone that along with GPRS supports IEEE 802.11b.
The device is designed for GSM 850/1900 MHz ranges and therefore will be aimed at Northern America. It also supports IrDA, Bluetooth, USB, Java, WAP 2.0 and has 2.8" display and 1.3mp camera.
Besides, BenQ showcased and launched shipments of 16x DVD recorder, DW1600, also supporting dual-layer recording at 2.4x.
