New Dothan 755 (2.0GHz) seen in Japanese retail
In Japan they started selling notebooks on Intel Pentium-M Dothan 735, 745 and 755: Epson Direct today launched sales of dual-spindle 12.1" systems on Celeron-M 330 (1.4GHz), Pentium-M (1.5GHz, 1.6GHz), 735 (1.7GHz), 745 (1.8GHz), and 755 (2.0GHz), and Intel 855GME chipset. The junior model on Celeron-M 330 with 256MB RAM and 20GB HDD costs ¥129,150 (about $1,145), while the senior model on Pentium-M 755 is priced ¥217,650 (about $1,930).
Notebooks have "Mat Black", "Galaxy Blue", "Noble Lead-Lead" and "Twinkling purple" bodies and feature PCMCIA Type2, Ethernet, 3 x USB 2.0 and 1 x IEEE1394 interfaces, Memory Stick/Secure Digital/MultiMediaCard readers. Wireless features (Intel PRO Wireless) are optional.
Sized 275x235x25-31mm, a model weighs 1.54kg. Announced operation time is 4.8 hours.
