Virtual keyboard made real
Two years ago we first heard of a virtual keyboard concept introduced by Canesta that utilized a visible laser projecting keyboard image onto, say, table, and an IR sensor monitoring your finger movements.
So, starting this month the Virtual Keyboard goes on sale under the iBIZ brand, the company that showcased the device at the recent CeBIT.
Virtual Keyboard features red and IR diode lasers, IR detector and USB interface. The Li-Ion battery provides up to 4 hours of work. The keyboard weighs 60g.
iBIZ Virtual Keyboard is compatible with PCs and notebooks that work under Windows 98/2000/NT/XP. And also with Palm m130, m500 Series, i705, Zire 71, Tungsten (excl. E series); Sony NR, NZ, NX, SJ, SL, T, TG, TJ; iPAQ 1900,2200,3800,3900,4100,4300,5400, 5500.
