CeBIT 2004: VIA to unveil HUSH AVX Music Server on EPIA M10000 Mini-ITX
At CeBIT 2004 VIA Technologies together with Digital Fidelity and HUSH Technologies will unveil HUSH AVX Music Server on VIA EPIA M10000 Mini-ITX motherboard. According to the press release, the server will provide space for 1600 CDs playable with a unique PDA-like Wi-Fi remote control.

It seems the server will provide features typical for this device class, including playlist creation, track/albumwise playback, sorting, etc. The server will work under the DigiFi software. Considering that the novelty was developed together with HUSH Technologies, the noiseless system maker, it should work silently.
As for the specs, they are:
- 160GB HDD for up to 160 WAV albums or 1600 WMA (192Kbps) albums, optional capacity increase
- Supports WAV, WMA, MP3
- Stereo, analog, RCA
- Modem or 10 Base-T/100 Base-T broadband connection
- IEEE 1394 / USB 2.0 options
- Web updates
