HP iPAQ 6000: a novelty under Pocket PC Phone Edition
The Web brought the first reliable specs and photos of iPAQ 6000 belonging to Hewlett-Packard´s new product family. By the appearance the new novelty resembles 2200, but the key difference is internal — operation under Pocket PC Phone Edition.
HP iPAQ 6000 brief specs:
- TI Omap1510 processor
- 64MB RAM, 64MB ROM
- 3.5" semi-transparent LCD
- SD/MMC slots with SDIO support
- GSM850/900/1800/1900 and GPRS operation
- Bluetooth ver. 1.1, Wi-Fi 802.11b
- Microsoft Windows Mobile 2003 Phone Edition
- Removable Li-Ion 1800mAh battery
- IrDA, USB interfaces
- Removable cover
- 117x74x18mm size
- 185g weight
Despite iPAQ 6000 is sized almost the same as 2210, it weigh significantly more than 144g of the latter (due to the additional interfaces, I guess). The first PDA ñåðèè iPAQ 6000 are expected in retail closer to Summer 2004 for a price yet undisclosed.
