Prescotts available by preliminary orders
Just days are left until the announcement of Prescott-based Pentium 4 processors. But today we can just share with you the information provided by our French colleagues that report that Pentium 4 E are already available by preliminary orders:

- Pentium 4 3.0E Box, €279.63
- Pentium 4 2.8E Box, €247.88
The chips general features are Socket 478, 800MHz FSB, 1MB L2 cache. For you to compare here are prices for existing Pentium 4 processors:
