Elpida announces 64Mbit SDR Mobile RAM chips
Elpida Memory announced 64Mbit SDR Mobile RAM chips designed for 2.5G/3G mobile handsets that togather with application processors can be packed into MCP/SIP housings.
The new EDL6416CABH, ECL6416CACN, EDL6416BABH, ECL6416BACN chips are organized as 1Ü words x 16-bits x 4 bank. Requiring 1.8/2.5 V voltage, 2.5V chips work at 133MHz, 1.8V chips — at 100MHz, and feature CL = 2, 3. The novelties are available in 54-pin FBGA packages (8x8 mm).
