Transcend 1GB DDR500 Memory Review @ Legit Reviews "The Transcend modules are rated at DDR500 (500MHz) with timings of 3-4-4-8; 1T, but only require 2.6 Volts for operation. This is lower than any DDR500 modules that we have seen! It will be interesting to see if these modules run cooler and see how the headroom is with higher voltages..." Read more at Legit Reviews. AMD nForce2 memory timings explored @ Madshrimps "A couple of days ago, I read on a Dutch forum a question concerning AMD timings. This week I saw almost the same question on our forums. It was a question about the fastest memory timings for an AMD nForce2 setup. Nobody could give a clear answer, so started to test the most common used timings... Here are the results you´ve always wanted to know!" Read more at Madshrimps. AeroCool Deep Impact DP-102 HSF Review @ Bjorn3D "After looking over a few of Aerocool’s new fans, I was really anxious to start testing their new Deep Impact heat sink. The Deep Impact is a far step away from your average heat sink, touting 36 copper fins surrounding a superconductor tube for maximum cooling performance. I like to keep the “hot spots” of my PC cool, and a nice processor heatsink is one of the products that I use to achieve this goal. Let’s see how the Deep Impact fares against my Athlon 2000+´s retail heatsink/fan." Read more at Bjorn3D. Aerogate One Review @ Creative Mods "Fan controllers are great additions to any case. Not only do they cut the noise level of the case down, they also can make your case look spiffier. Fan controllers can vary the amount of airflow in a case to best suit the needs of the user. Today I am going to review a nice offering from Cooler Masters called the Aerogate one." Read more at Creative Mods. Legion Hardware — (Corsair TwinX1024 PC4400 — DDR550) "There is no doubt in my mind that these modules can do exactly what Corsair say they can as I have seen the numbers with my own eyes. The biggest concern now is the price tag which this 1GB TwinX kit will carry. The estimated retail of at least $430 is a bit hard to swallow, considering the XMS3200 1GB kits are less than half this price. Nevertheless, if you are going to overclock to the max, then you need memory that can do this. The XMS4400 can do this as you have just witnessed, and are the only memory modules that are guaranteed to do so." Read more at Legion Hardware. Toshiba MT500 Projector @ TrustedReviews "So will I be trading my 40in Toshiba TV in for an MT500? Most definitely. After all why would I limit myself to a 40in screen when the MT500 can throw a 150in image. That said, I can’t really afford or accommodate one right now but as soon as I find a house where I can dedicate a room to my home cinema setup I’ll go out shopping for an MT500, or whatever Toshiba has replaced it with by then." Zalman CNPS7000A-AlCu CPU cooler @ TrustedReviews "Zalman is a company with a well deserved reputation for making silent CPU coolers and the CNPS7000A-AlCu is another step in the right direction. This is a complete redesign of Zalman’s previous products and is much easier to fit, or at least it is on a Pentium 4 motherboard." Read more at TrustedReviews. Falcon Rock AMD Cooler Review @ Creative Mods "The Spire Falcon Rock is made out of aluminum, and has a copper contact point at its base. The 80mm fan itself is made out of aluminum, which adds a touch to the overall appearance of the CPU cooler. If you are in the market for a good mid-range cooler, the Falcon Rock might be the one for you." Read more at Creative Mods.
