ASUS unveils A7N8X-E Deluxe motherboard for its Wi-Fi@HOME series
ASUSTeK Computer announced the improved version of its A7N8X motherboard. The new
A7N8X-E Deluxe specs:
- AMD Athlon XP, Athlon and Duron support
- nForce2 Ultra 400 + nForce2 MCP-T chipset
- 400MHz FSB
- PC3200/2700/2100/1600 non-ECC DDR SDRAM
- Dual-channel DDR 400
- AGP Pro/8x
- Wi-Fi (ASUS Wi-Fi@HOME)
- 2 x Serial ATA ports
- 1Gbps Marvell LAN + 10/100Mbps NVIDIA LAN
- 1 x IEEE 1934 port
- 6 x USB 2.0 ports
ASUS Wi-Fi@HOME is designed specially to simplify building and setting up wireless home networks. ASUS Wi-Fi@HOME includes three components: ASUS motherboard with a Wi-Fi slot, ASUS WiFi-b WLAN adapter, and ASUS Software AP (access point).
A7N8X-E Deluxe is sold in the usual bundle (just the board) and wireless bundle ( includes WiFi-b adapter). The latter is a 3-in-1 solution: 802.11b + 1Gbps and 10/100 Mbps adapters.
