M-Audio Transit USB: miniature portable audio interface
Transit USB from M-Audio is an ultra-miniature USB audio interface that enables to connect any analog peripherals to your PC. This tiny device sized just 95x52x22 mm supports resolutions up to 24bit/96kHz. At that the utilized AK4584 codec allowed the 104dB dinamic range, about 100dB SNR and about 0.00316% THD.
Transit USB powers directly from USB. It features TOSlink and analog stereo inputs/outputs, supports Dolby Digital 5.1, DTS, AC3. It also supports 16/24-bit resolutions at 8, 9.6 11.025, 12, 16, 22.050, 24, 32, 44.1, 48, 88.2 and 96 kHz. Device´s drivers also work with Core Audio, SoundManager, ASIO 1/2, MME/WDM.
The novelty is bundled with drivers for Windows 98 SE/Me/2000/XP, Mac OS 9.2.2/Mac OS X 10.1.5. The MSRP of Transit USB is about $99.95.
