Toshiba Dynabook SS SX: new ultra light notebooks with 12.1" XGA displays
Japanese Toshiba introduced another mobile ultra light B5 series — Dynabook SS SX/210LN scheduled for shipping to January. Novelties are interesting by their light weight, just 995g fully equipped, and operation time – up to 5.4 hours with a standard battery.
Dynabook SS SX/210LNLN has 12.1" XGA LCD display, 1.0GHz ULV (Ultra Low Voltage) Pentium M, Intel 855GM chipset, 256MB PC2100 (up to 1GB), 1.8" 20GB hard disk. Besides, the SS SX/210LNLW model weighs 1.1kg and features 2.5" 40GB HDD and IEEE 802.11b/g interface. In Japan new models will cost up to $2000.
