Dothan-based Pentium M pricing, clock speeds and release dates
Taiwanese sources close to notebook manufacturers reported some new details on 90nm Dothan-based Pentium M processors scheduled to February 2004. According to Intel Taiwan, currently the yield of 90nm chips from 300mm wafers even exceeds values for 0.13µm process and 200mm wafers.
First we should see the 1.6GHz, 1.7GHz and 1.8GHz models in the market. Besides, in Q1 2004 Intel is also going to present the 1GHz ULV Pentium M on Dothan core for about $262 wholesale.
As for the primary Intel Mobile M (Dothan) series, the prices will be approximately as below:
