ASUS unveils GF FX 5950 Ultra/5700 Ultra cards, while Gigabyte offers Radeon 9800/9600XT products
It seems those times, when a large manufacturer could only release cards on GPUs from a single graphics processor maker, are passing. When ASUS had released ATI-based products and Gigabyte had announced NVIDIA-based solutions, it seemed like an artful chess castle. However the reality turned out to be even more interesting, as both companies had continued to make solutions on GPUs of their older partners. Moreover, both of them are going to offer models on the freshest novelties from ATI and NVIDIA.

As for ASUS, we know it will release ASUS V9980 Ultra/TVD on GeForce FX 5950 Ultra (475 /950MHz) that will have D-Sub, DVI, VIVO connectors. On GeForce FX 5700 Ultra the company will make ASUS V9570/TD with 256Mb of 128-bit DDR SDRAM with 425/550 MHz clocks. Both models are expected in November already.

In its turn, Gigabyte plans to release cards on Radeon 9800 XT and Radeon 9600 XT GPUs alongside NVIDIA graphics. But there´s still no details on this in the Web.
