SiS introduces USB2.0 controller for flash drives
SiS introduced a new USB2.0 controller for flash drives, SiS150. It differs from similar solutions by higher throughput (18Mbps read and 13Mbps write), as well as smaller size. The controller is 0.18nm CMOS.
SiS150 allows to work with 4Gb capacities, supports USB2.0/1.1 specs. The controller includes 8-bit 30MHz processor, RAM and ROM. As for other features, they include 1-bit ECC circuitry, write protect, disk partitioning, password protection, ZIP/USB emulation, etc.
