ATI announces fiscal quarter results
ATI Technologies announced results for the 4th fiscal quarter of 2003 that ended on August 31. It´s clearly seen the company was doing well: revenues made $380.7 million that considerably exceeds $355.7 million earned in the previous quarter and exceeds the same quarter of the last year by 70.8%.
The net profit made $22.3 million in the reporting period or $0.09/stock. Compare this with $15 million profit of the previous quarter ($0.06/stock) and last year $34.6 million losses (è $0.15/stock).
In the report the company especially underlines that profitability was provided by successful shipments of consumer electronics, PC and mobile hardware.
In the next fiscal quarter the the company estimates $400-430 million growth both due to seasonal activity, and markets, including graphics processors, desktop and mobile chipsets and mobile hardware. The complete report is here.
