Two more Mebius series notebooks: powered by Athlon XP-M 1800+
Sharp announced two new Mebius series
notebooks, based on Athlon XP-M 1800+ CPUs, that will go on sale on October
3. Although the price is still unannounced, it could be about $1255 äîëëàðîâ
for the model with 12,1" screen (PC-MC1-3CC) and about $1433 for the model
with 14,1"screen.

PC-CL1-5CD
All the specifications of the models are the same:256 MB RAM (768 MB max),
40 GB HDD, DVD-ROM/CD-RW-drive, built-in V.90-supporting modem,one PC Card Type
II slot, Ethernet port, 4 USB 2.0 ports, etc. rather standard set.

PC-MC1-3CC
Both devices support DirectHD technology that is used in MURAMASA PC-MV1-5CA
and 7 more solutions: PC-MM1-H5W, PC-MM1-H3E, PC-RD1-D3U, PC-RD1-D3M, PC-MC1-3CA,
PC-CL1-7DA, and PC-CL1-5CA. The dimensions of new models are: 281 x 262 x 22.5
– 33.5 for the PC-MC1-3CC and 310 x 262 x 25.2 – 33.5 for the PC-CL1-5CD, they
weight 2.5 and 2.7 kg respectively.
