Computex 2003: the truth about NVIDIA Crush K8/K8S. 2-way motherboard on nForce3 250

It´s time to provide the details about all NVIDIA nForce3 chipsets. As today, the last day of Computex 2003 clarified everything about this Athlon 64 series, so we can now omit the Crush K8/Crush K8S codenames for the sake of official names.

So, the NVIDIA nForce3 series currently includes 5 chips one supports Athlon 64 FX-51, all five support Athlon 64, another is designed for mobile systems.

Some chipsets have already appeared in our news. Below is a complete list of nForce3 solutions:

I guess no other comments are necessary, however I´ll just add that exactly nForce3 250Gb and nForce3 250 were codenamed Crush K8S differing from Crush K8 (nForce3 150) jut by Gigabit Ethernet (250Gb) and up to 4 x Serial ATA ports. nForce3 250 shipments are estimated for launch in November.

And what´s really interesting at the exhibition they also showed... a dual-way nForce3 250 for Opteron 2xx workstations! It has AGP 8X, PCI-X slots and AMD-8131 PCI-X bridge.
