hp omnibook xe4000: new representative notebooks
Hewlett-Packard reported the shipments of its new á4 representative notebooks — hp omnibook xe4000 series — to begin in the end of July.
hp omnibook xe4000 line is the further evolution of hp omnibook xe3 series. hp omnibook xe4100 (F4646J#ABJ) featuers 1.2 GHz Mobile Celeron, ProSavage PN133T / VT8231 integrated chipset, has 128 MB PC133 RAM, 20 GB HDD (Ultra ATA/100), 24È CD-ROM drive, 14.1" XGA (1024È768) LCD panel, a complete set of interfaces: 56kbps / V. 92 modem, 10/100BASE-TX LAN, USB, video-out, PC Card Type II/III, etc. The model size is 329.4 È 272.5 È 38.5 mm, the weight is 2.9 kg.
hp omnibook xe4500 (F4883J#ABJ) has 1.6 GHz Mobile Pentium 4-M, ALi 1671 / 1535 chipset, ATI MOBILITY RADEON graphics (16 í DDR SDRAM), 128 MB of PC2100 DDR SDRAM, 20 GB HDD (Ultra ATA/100), 24È CD-ROM drive, 14.1" LCD panel, lots of interfaces.
In Japan hp omnibook xe4100 will cost about $1350, and xe4500, based on 1.6 GHz Mobile Pentium 4-M, — about $1700.
