ELSA AG is no more... Long live ELSA GmbH!
About the future of the well-known German ELSA company: it´s back to computer market from August, 1. Thomas George, company bankruptcy officer, announced that further investment and management passes to one of Bremen finance groups.
The company name is to change, respectively, from ELSA AG to ELSA GmbH. It will produce SOHO solutions, the main direction will be the development and release of graphics and multimedia products. Anyway, the assortment will be reduced as the department for making networking and DSL Lancom and AirLancer products is changed to Lancom System and owned by Devolo AG.
Naturally, ELSA GmbH guarantees the technical support of existing ELSA AG products.
Also remember that Japanese assets of ELSA Japan, former ELSA AG subsidiary, are now fully owned by Japanese Technology Joint Corporation (TJC), former 5% co-owner.
