Janus: FIC´s Crusoe TM5600-based compact server
FIC (First International Computer) announced the new low-power Janus server, based on Transmeta Crusoe TM5600 (intergated Northbridge) coupled with ALi M1535 Southbridge.

Due to low-power components the system doesn´t have a single cooler, and the total energy consumption doesn´t exceed 40 W!

Janus is designed for SOHO and can be configured as a webserver, mail server, distributed storage or print server.
The product has a RAID controller and supports up to 2 "hot plug" hard disks. Server´s size is 265 x 255 x 80 mm. Janus features PCI and PCMCIA slots, IEEE 1394 and USB ports. It works under Linux or Windows 2000.
