Eight new digital devices from Hewlett-Packard
Today Hewlett Packard announced eight new digital devices, including printers and digital cameras.
HP Photosmart 7550, 7350 and 7150 are 6- and 7-color photo printers (7-colors only 7550), support up to 4800 dpi resolution, providing, according to the company, almost the traditional photographic quality using Premium Plus Photo paper.
HP Photosmart 7550 has 1.5" LCD previewing and editing display. Besides, HP Photosmart 7550 and 7350 can print 10x15 cm borderless images and support direct printing from CompactFlash, Secure Digital, SmartMedia, MultiMedia and Memory Stick. All three models support direct printing from HP Photosmart USB digital cameras.
The suggested price of HP Photosmart 7150 is $179, HP Photosmart 7350 $249, of the top HP Photosmart 7550 $399.
Small-sized HP Photosmart 130 can print 10x15 cm images and is to replace Photosmart 100. The printer supports up to 4800 dpi resolution and CompactFlash, Secure Digital, SmartMedia, MultiMedia and Sony Memory Stick flash-memory. Its suggested price is $179.
Besides, HP presented three new HP Photosmart 720, 620 and 320 digital cameras.
Photosmart 320 (about $179) is a 2-megapixel AF camera to replace Photosmart 120. It can shoot short videos (up to 14 fps). 2-megapixel Photosmart 620 ($249) can shoot videos at up to 16 fps. 3.3-megapixel Photosmart 720 ($399) is to replace HP 715, it supports image sound comments (.WAV).
HP Photosmart 720, 620 and 320 support HP Instant Share technology and are compatible with a special HP Photosmart 8881 cradle, enabling to connect the camera to a PC, a TV, or a printer, and being a charger in addition.
Photosmart 7150 printer is already available in retail, other novelties are expected within some weeks.
