TravelMate 270 — Acer´s Intel Pentium 4-M notebook line
Acer presented the new 1.4 GHz and higher Intel Pentium 4-M notebook line — TravelMate 270. New fully-featured mobile PCs are designed for professionals and replace popular TravelMate 260.
TravelMate 270 bases on Pentium 4-í, SiS 650 chipset (integrated graphics, 16MB DDR SDRAM video memory or 32/64MB BIOS-distributed RAM resources), has 14.1-inch or 15-inch XGA TFT LCD panel (1024x768, 16.7M colors), DDR SDRAM (up to 1024MB), supports energy saving with Intel Enhanced Speedstep.
TravelMate 270 utilize 20-40GB Ultra DMA-100 hard disk, built-in 3.5-inch 1.44MB FDD (standard configuration), óD-ROM, DVD or DVD/CD-RW combo. All TravelMate 270 PCs have 10/100 Mbps Fast Ethernet modules, 56Kbps fax-modems, other interfaces. Some models feature wireless IEEE 802.11b from InviLink.
TravelMate 270 feature a compact 65 W power adapter and support charge at operation, so you won´t have to turn it off to charge. The standard 57 W Li-Ion batteries provide up to 3 hours of operation.
Size / weight: 322x272x35.5 mm / 2.95 kg in case of 14.1-inch panel, 327x272x36 mm / 3.18 kg for 15-inch panel. Notebooks also have Microsoft Windows XP Home or Windows XP Professional and other software.
