Two new LCD monitors from Acer
According to Japanese mass-media, in the beginning of September Acer plans to start sales (at least in Japan) of two new LCD monitors: 15-inch AL511 and 17-inch AL722.
Both of them feature standard analog inputs. AL722´s max. resolution is 1280x1024, max. brightness is 250 candles/sq.m, contrast — 400:1, response time — 40 ms, viewing angle — 150° horizontal and 140° vertical. The monitor has built-in stereo speakers. The size of Acer AL722 is 424x178x436 mm, weight — 6.5 kg, the suggested price is about $580.
15-inch AL511 supports resolutions up to 1024x768, features up to 250 candles/sq.m brightness, 350:1 contrast, 40 ms response time, 120° horizontal and 100° vertical viewing angle. Acer AL511 size is 353x204x368 mm, weight is 3.2 kg, the expected price is about $370.
