PowerLeap PL-P4/N: upgrading Socket-423 systems with Pentium-4 Northwood
Powerleap, already known by its CPU adapters, announced the release of its new product — PowerLeap PL-P4/N — that enables to use Socket-423 Pentium 4 boards with new Socket-478 Pentium 4, including those with Northwood core and 512 L2 cache.
The new adapter can be used with Pentium 4 processors, based on Northwood or Willamette, as well as with new P4 Celeron. The package contains a tube of Arctic Alumina thermal grease. At the company website PowerLeap PL-P4/N costs $49.95.
