New 5-megapixel Camedia C-50 from Olympus
Netherlandish LetsGoDigital reported that Olympus is to announce a new 5-megapixel Olympus Camedia C-50, supposedly to replace Camedia C-40.
The new camera will feature 1/1.8-inch 5-megapixel CCD, 3x optical lens (38-114 mm equiv.), f2.8, f4.8, 1È-4.5x digital zoom (VGA).
C-50 supports xD-picture cards, and QuickTime Motion JPEG movie recording. It has USB interface, and is identified by OS as a USB Storage Class.
Olympus Camedia C-50 will be showcased at Photokina, supposedly with the specifications. The approximate price of C-50 is about 899 euro.
