Fujifilm FinePix M603: new 3-megapixel photo/video camera
Fujifilm, having been making two announcements a month, released FinePix M603 just after two weeks after FinePix F402.
FinePix M603 uses xD-Picture Card or IBM Microdrive. The latter might come in handy for recording 640È480, 30 fps movies. This mode beneficially outstands FinePix M603, though raises its price as well.
Main specifications are: 3G Super CCD, 3.1 million effective pixels; 4.4È digital zoom; 2x optical Super EBC Fujinon lens, 38-76 mm (35-mm equiv.); ISO 100, 200, 400, 800, 1600; hi-res continuous shooting (4 fps, up to 5 shots a serie); up to 30 sec voice comments.
The camera has 2.5-inch TFT LCD, featuring 118,000 pixels, and a special peak for outside shooting in the sunny weather.
FinePix M603 is expected for sale in November. With 512MB IBM Microdrive the camera will cost 700 euro and over.
