Low-profile DDR DIMM and SO-DIMM modules from SMART Modular
SMART Modular Technologies, Solectron Corporation subsidiary, today announced new low-profile 1GB PC2100 Registered DIMM modules 1-inch high, and low-profile 512MB PC2700 ECC SO-DIMM modules, 1.25-inch high.
New 1GB modules are designed for compact comm systems, where standard 1.2 DIMM do not fit. New 512MB ECC SO-DIMM modules are designed for low-dimension and varisous comm devices, including wireless base stations, gigabit routers, VOIP gateways, and servers.
1GB SM5722885D8ELCH01 (PC2100 CL2.5) modules feature 184-pin package. 512MB PC2700 ECC SO-DIMM (64Mx72) feature two variants: SM572648FD8DWCL (PC2700 CL2.5) and SM572648FD8DWCH (PC2100 CL2.5).
