Photo of the day: ABIT Siluro GF4 Ti4200 OTES, operation principles
We´ve got some interesting graphics cards for our videolab. One is already known ABIT Siluro GF4 Ti4200 OTES, featuring unusual "exhaust" cooling system.
Primae impressionis: the turbine is rather noisy, but enables 275/550 MHz core/memory clocks similar to Ti4400-based cards. OTES operation principle is: the chip heats cooler´s copper base, featuring a soldered copper pipe with a special liquid (noticeable at the cooler´s bottom). The pipe is connected to a copper heat-sink at the end of the exhaust. This heat-sink is cooled by airflow, created by 7200 RPM turbine cooler.
