Toshiba announces 4 new DynaBooks
Toshiba announced 4 new DynaBook series products: G6, G6C, T6, and E6. the sales are to start on October 26.

The first one, DynaBook G6 bases on Mobile Pentium 4-M 2.2 GHz, has 512MB RAM, 60GB HDD, 32MB DDR GeForce4 460 Go graphics, 3 USB 2.0 ports, IEEE 1394 port, IEEE 802.11b and Bluetooth V.1.1, V.90 modem and video-out for an external monitor. TFT LCD supports resolutions up to 1600x1200. Besides, this high-end notebook features a DVD drive and an optional TV-tuner.
DynaBook G6 dimensions are 334x305.8x38.2 mm, price over 27000-38000 yens ($2250-3170).

DynaBook G6C differs from DynaBook G6 by a slower 1.8 GHz Pentium 4-M or Mobile Celeron, lower-res screen (1400x1050) and twice smaller RAM (256MB), other features are similar. The price will be 25000 and 22000 yens ($2085-$1830) for Pentium 4-M and Mobile Celeron models, respectively.

The next one, DynaBook T6, will be released with a DVD/CD-RW (24000 yens or $2000) and without it (20000 yens or $1670). Besides, it has 16MB DDR GeForce4 420 Go graphics, 3 USB 1.1 ports. But unlike previous models DynaBook T6 provides over 2-hour standalone operation, and G6 and G6C only 1.5 hours.

Finally, DynaBook E6, based on 1.5 GHz Mobile Celeron, having 40GB HDD, 1024x768 TFT LCD, 16MB DDR Mobility Radeon graphics, will cost about 19000 yens or $1580.
