RIM announces Blackberry 6710
RIM (Research In Motion) announced two new Blackberry PDAs: Blackberry 6710 for the European, Asian, and USA markets, and Blackberry 6720 for the European and Asian markets.
As both models use GSM/GPRS, the difference is obvious: 6710 operates at 900/1900 MHz, 6720 — at 900/1800 MHz. Devices feature Java 2 ME support, SMS, Internet, PIM.
The dimensions of new Blackberries are 121x76x17 mm, weight — 137 g. Battery — Li-Ion, memory — 1MB SRAM, 8MB flash. Blackberry 6710 will cost about 750 Canadian dollars or $475.
