Philips ISP1301: USB On-the-Go physical-level tranceiver
Royal Philips Electronics officially announced the new ISP1301 chip a tranceiver for USB On-the-Go (OTG) controllers for the direct connectivity between cellulars, video/digital cameras, PDAs, bypassing PC.

The tranceiver provides two data transfer modes: fast (12Mbps) and slow (1.5Mbps), enabling devices to select the mode depending on data type and power saving.
ISP1301 samples in ultrathin HVQFN24 packaging are already being shipped. The volume production will start in Q2 2003.
Besides, Philips also announced ISP1362 a single-chip USB 2.0 OTG host controller and the complete USB OTG developer kit for creating devices on Philips OTG for PDAs, based on Intel XScale.
