Siemens announces five mobiles for North American markets
These days in New York Siemens announced five new mobiles for the North American market: A56 and M46 with extended personalization, CT56 and C56 with extended entertainment options, and color S56m supporting MMS and optional camera, being a clone of S55 to some degree.
Besides camera, S56 supports Class 10 GPRS, Bluetooth, J2ME, polyphony and 256 display colors. Voice dialling, voice control, and voice messages are also supported.
For CT56 the company will offer 8 CLIPit panels, EMS (Enhanced Messaging Service), GPRS, J2ME, polyphony, voice dialling and control support. CT56 will be sold to Cingular Wireless subscribers only, others will be ablt to purchase similar C56.
A56 is a small and light entry-level mobile, supporting CLIPit panels, GPRS and EMS.
As for M46, it’s not that new, as we’ve already mentioned it as far back as in March. M46 will be offered to T-Mobile subscribers, and will support 8 CLIPit panels, GPRS, J2ME, and EMS.
