Nokia announces 7 new phones
Today at the press conference in Munich Nokia announced 7 new phones, including a mobile game console and a phone with a digital camera.
Nokia N-Gage mobile game console is to have many games written for it and sold on flash cards.

According to Nokia, N-Gage is called to compete with Nintendo, Sony, Microsoft portable consoles. The phone will be presented to the market in February 2003.

Second, the company announced Nokia 6800 with color display, MMS and Java support. It’s interesting that the phone can be unfolded to a mini-keyboard for faster typing. Nokia 6800 is designed for the European, African, and Asian markets and will be presented for sale in Q1 2003.

Besides, Q1 2003 will also bring (along with 5100, 8910i, and 2100) stylish Nokia 7250 with a digital camera and various body colors.

Nokia 6100 with color display should appear for sale already this year. Besides, it supports GPRS and MMS and tri-band GSM/GPRS 900/1800/1900 MHz operation.

As for Nokia 5100 expected next year, it will support EGSM 900 MHz, GSM 1800/1900 MHz, MMS and Java (unlike 6100).

Nokia 8910i in the light titanium alloy body was the most functional of all models announced, supporting MMS, Java, Bluetooth, HSCSD, GPRS.
Vice versa, Nokia 2100 was the simplest.
