Dell PDAs to debut at Comdex Fall 2002
Dell Computer representatives officially confirmed that the company is going to announce first two PDAs at international Comdex Fall 2002, on November 18 in Las Vegas, Nevada. Pity, but no details are to be undisclosed before the official announcement, so for next two weeks we will have to live on info from "industrial sources" and small promo at the company website.
Dell PDA line will be called Axim X5. Devices will mainly differ by processor and price: $199 version will feature 300 MHz Intel Xscale, $299 version – 400 MHz Intel XScale. Besides, new Axim X5 are also expected to feature 3.5-inch LCDs, Secure Digital and Compact Flash slots, and Jog Dial controls.
