AOpen announces SilentTek noise reduction technology
In the next generation of motherboards AOpen will announce proprietary SilentTek technology, combining a special onboard chip, newer BIOS and Windows utility. SilentTek kit will enable hardware monitoring, CPU overheating protection, and fan speed control to provide more balanced system performance/stability/noise.
SilentTek has several tabs, including Voltage Status, that shows current critical voltages along with min and max allowed levels.
Temp/Fan/Chassis controls CPU and system temperature, fan speeds, and their limits as well.
SilentTek, the most important tab, enables to control each fan speed.
SilentTek will be used together with SilentBIOS for pre-boot noise control.
SilentBIOS/HW Monitor screen will look like:
It will enable to set CPU and chassis temperature modes, check fan modes.
