Fujitsu announces FMV-STYLISTIC tablet
Among new tablets, followed the official announcement of Windows XP Tablet PC Edition, we´ve noticed FMV-STYLISTIC Tablet PC from Fujitsu.
Unlike other solutions, Fujitsu model doesn´t have a keyboard, being a classic tablet. Such accessories can be plugged into a docking station with 8/16/10/24x DVD/CD-RW and Ethernet controller, connected to tablet over WLAN.
The device bases on Intel 830MG (up to 48MB video memory), has 10.4-inch 1024x768 (XGA) LCD, 800MHz Mobile Pentium III-M, 256MB RAM (up to 768MB), 40GB HDD, PC card Type 2, IEEE 802.11b interfaces, USB 1.1, IEEE 1394 ports.
Batteries provide up to 4.4 hours of operation. Tablet dimensions are 301.3x220x20.9 mm, weight – 1.48 kg. Docking station dimensions are 220x263x328.9 mm, weight – 2.7 kg. The suggested price is about $2500.
