Comdex Fall 2002: AMD to announce Opteron systems under 64-bit Microsoft Windows
AMD announced that at Comdex Fall 2002 Newisys is going to present systems on Opteron processors under prototypes of 64-bit Microsoft Windows along with 64-bit Microsoft Internet Information Server (IIS), 64-bit Terminal Services, and 64-bit Microsoft Internet Explorer.
Besides, AMD will also demonstrate 32-bit Microsoft Office XP under 64-bit Microsoft Windows as the capability of shared data access of 32- and 64-bit apps.
