Melco also announced 48õ DVD-ROM/CD-RW.

There will be three versions: external CRWD-48IU2 (IEEE 1394, USB 2.0), CRWD-4C8U2 (USB 2.0) for 25500 yeans ($210) and 22000 yens ($185), respectively; and internal CRWD-48FB (ATAPI) for 16500 yens ($140). The sales are to start in December.
