Sony Micro Vault: now supporting USB 2.0
Already in November Sony plans to start shipping the updated Micro Vault USB 2.0 line of flash memories to the European market.
Micro Vault USB 2.0 line includes 32, 64, 128, and 256 Mb devices. Similar to other products, Micro Vault USB 2.0 do not require any drivers under Windows ME, 2000, XP, and Mac OS 9.0 and (USB 1.1). The read speed makes 5.5 Mb/s (1.0 Mb/s in USB 1.1), write speed – 1.0 Mb/s (870 Kb/s in USB 1.1).
Sony Micro Vault USB 2.0 device dimensions are 26x13x92 mm, weight – about 20 g. 256Mb version costs about 200 euro.
