Nanya, Mosel Vitelic: more DDR400!
According to Chinese United Daily News, Taiwanese Nanya Technology and Mosel Vitelic plan to increase the Springdale DDR400 chipset production volumes up to 50% by March, i.e. by the moment Intel announces new chipsets.
Nanya will produce DDR400 chips on the new 0.14-micron 300-mm fab, being jointly constructed with Infineon Technologies.
Mosel Vitelic, the first Taiwanese DRAM maker to launch the 0.14-micron DDR400 chip production (licensed from Infineon), plans to launch two new 0.12-micron production lines.
