CPU architecture has remained the same: the actual clock is still 2.133GHz and FSB is still 266MHz. Similar to previous models, the novelty has 128Kb L1 cache, 256Kb L2 cache. Core voltage is 1.65V, max energy consumption – 60W, core size 80 mm², process technology – 0.13 micron.
About 49 system builders are expected to release systems on AMD Athlon MP 2600+ worldwide. In over 1000-unit quantities AMD Athlon MP 2600+ will cost $273. this has naturally shifted wholesale prices for other processors in this line: Athlon MP 2400+ (2.0GHz) will now cost $228 each, Athlon MP 2200+ (1.8GHz) $208, Athlon MP 2000+ (1.67GHz) – $153.
