Fujitsu PC ships LifeBook C Series equipped with DVD-RW drives
Fujitsu PC Corporation (FPC), a division of Fujitsu Limited, started shipments of next-generation LifeBook C all-in-one multimedia portable PCs called to replace desktops. New models differ by a new DVD-RW option.
LifeBook C Series notebooks are based on ATI Mobility RADEON IGP340M with 64Mb graphics, 2.0GHz Pentium 4-M and have 14" or 15" XGA LCD, 256Mb SDRAM (768Mb max), 60/40/30Gb HDD, built-in floppy drive, DVD-RW or DVD/CD-RW, or DVD, or CD-ROM drive, Ethernet, modem, PC Card Type I/ II or Type III and MemoryStick / SecureDigital slots, USB 2.0 ports, IEEE 1394, S-video, etc. features, optional Wi-Fi (IEEE 802.11b) interface, and Windows XP Home / Windows XP Professional / Windows 2000 Professional.
The dimensions of LifeBook C Series notebooks are 326.4x283.2x39.4 mm, weight – about 3.3 kg. In a basic configuration one system will cost $1399.
