Ricoh MP5240A-DP: a new 4x DVD+RW drive
At CeBIT 2003 Ricoh is to announce a new MP5240A-DP DVD+RW drive (on the photo – its predecessor).
The novelty will support 4x DVD+R and DVD+RW recording and 8x DVD playback. The CD-RW formula is 24/10/40.
MP5240A-DP will feature 2Mb buffer and support Mt. Rainier. Average read seek will be 140ms for DVD and 120ms for CD.
The bundle will include MedioStream NeoDVD 4.5 with DVD-Video and DVD+VR support. Expected price – about €380.
