ASUS S1N (Centrino) notebook in our lab!
The first Centrino-based notebook has at last reached our lab. Introducing ASUS S1N.
S1N notebooks have already been announced in our newsfeed during CeBIT 2003. Its configuration includes: 13.3" LCD panel, 4-in-1 card reader (SM/SD/MS/MMC), ASUS Power4 Gear and ADTD II technologies, 3.5 hours of operation. The Centrino stamp implies the presence all three components: Pentium M processor, i855 chipset and Intel PRO/Wireless 2100 WLAN adapter. S1N models weigh about 1.8kg, being about 18mm thick. The model we got was based on 1.6GHz Pentium M.
I personally think this is a really elegant and unusually thin model. Other details are to follow in our reviews as usual.
