Springdale official announcement moved a week forth
According to Taiwanese industrial sources, due to USA military operations, Intel decided to move the official announcement of Springdale products from May 12 to May 20, so distributors have enough time to prepare for sales. The company stressed this delay is related to the military ops only, and is on no account concerned with new solutions production.
Of course, mobo makers as well as the rest of the world are worried about how long the war in Iraq takes. Though they have their own interest here: the length of the war affects the demand for new products in North America. Some believe in case it takes long, sales volumes along with general activity of North American market will be low.
Due to the latest events in Middle East, mobo makers expect shipping services pricing to grow. However, no serious changes are expected in roadmaps, as all of them will suffer equally.
