Samsung launches production of 1Gb DDR-II modules

Samsung informed on launching the volume production of 1Gb DDR-II modules based on 512Mbit chips.

New modules require 1.8V voltage and provide 533Mbps and 667Mbps (networking versions).

Sample shipments of 512Mbit DDR-II chips started as far back as last May.
