Micron announces 512Mbit DDR400 chips Today Micron Technology announced production of new 512Mbit DDR400 chips. According to the company, such PC3200 devices will be showcased at JEDEX to take place in San Jose, CA, this week.New 512Mbit DDR400 chips are made at Micron´s proprietary facilities using 0.11µm process technology and meet JEDEC’s DDR400 requirements. Micron supposes new chips and modules will pass qualification tests by mid-2003.
