RADEON 9700 PRO on... GeForce FX 5800 PCB!
You will think this is a Fool’s Day joke, but this just can´t wait until tomorrow being too extraordinary. It turned out that GeForce FX 5800 and RADEON 9700 PRO are pin-compatible!
Engineers from both companies made produced an exclusive consignment of 50 RADEON 9700 PRO graphics cards on GeForce FX 5800 PCB even featuring the FlowFX cooling system!
Naturally, it is identical to GeForce FX. And don’t try to expose any signs of photoimposition, just click for the larger images to see yourself. Besides, in this design RADEON 9700 PRO GPU works with the same 500 (1000) MHz DDRII. I wonder how 128-bit bus will affect this solution (instead of the original 256-bit)?
