Eten Pocket PC P700: a new tri-band GSM/GPRS PDA
Eten Information Systems, that participated in the development of the first DOS Chinese input system and later became a co-founder of Big5 Chinese character map, introduced its new E-TEN Pocket PC P700.
Pocket PC P700 works under Microsoft Pocket PC 2003, features 400MHz Intel PXA250, has semi-transparent 320x240@64K LCD display, 64Mb SDRAM, 32Mb Flash. Besides, unlike the previous P600 on 206MHz StrongArm SA1110 with a dual-band GSM/GPRS module, the newer device features a tri-band GSM900/1800/1900 module supporting GPRS Class B / Multi-slot 10.
The PDA also has Compact Flash Type I and SDIO slots and a Li-Ion battery. Pricing and shipments information is uniavailable at the moment.
