Promise releases two Serial ATA RAID PCI adapters
Promise Technology released two new Serial ATA (SATA) RAID PCI adapters for Serial ATA/150 drives: FastTrak S150 TX2plus and FastTrak S150 TX4.
FastTrak S150 TX2plus features two independent SATA RAID ports (for two Serial ATA/150 devices) and one Ultra/133 ATA RAID port (for two Ultra/133 ATA devices).
Promise FastTrak S150 TX4 features four independent Serial ATA/150 ports.
Both controllers support over 137Gb HDDs and 33MHz/66MHz PCI buses. They can work under Windows 98/Me/NT4/2000/XP; RedHat 7.3/8.0; SuSE 7.3/8.0. The MSRP of FastTrak S150 TX2plus is $109, of FastTrak S150 TX4 — $139. Both of them are shipped with 2-year manufacturer warranty.
